Typically the first visit lasts about one hour. During this time information is obtained about your overall health and specifically about your hemorrhoids. A physical exam is done with a focus on anal/rectal exam. Then if you are a candidate the IRC procedure is done. Follow up visits for IRC will entail a rectal exam and IRC treatment. These visits normally take less then 20 minutes of your time.
It is important to keep in mind that there is no preparation needed prior to your visit. Since there is no pain other then slight minor discomfort on occasion you can drive yourself home and immediately return to work or play. Improve your quality of life now!
